01 / SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Shipping & Delivery

How fast do you ship?
Orders placed before 4 PM ET on a business day ship the same day. Orders after that go out the next business day. Every order ships Free UPS 2nd Day Air, so most units land within 2 business days of shipping.
Can I upgrade to next-day shipping?
Yes. UPS Next Day Air is a flat $40 on any order, any size. Select it at checkout. Same 4 PM ET cutoff applies for same-day shipping.
How do I track my order?
You'll get a tracking email within 30 minutes of the label being printed. If you don't see it, check your spam folder. Still nothing? Email support@omniflash.com with your order number.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, no. We ship within the continental US only. Hawaii, Alaska, and PR ship at the same UPS rates but transit time varies. International shipping is on our roadmap.
What if my package is lost or damaged?
We've got you. Reach out and we file the UPS claim on our end. You get a replacement unit shipped right away, no waiting on the carrier investigation. Don't toss damaged packaging until we confirm the claim.
02 / VIN PROGRAMMING

VIN Programming

What is VIN programming?
Modern ECUs are tied to your vehicle's VIN. Before we ship, we flash your specific VIN into the unit so it talks to your truck's CAN bus, security module, immobilizer, and dash exactly like the original ECU did. No relearns, no dealer trips.
Do I need to send my VIN before checkout?
Yes. There's a VIN field at checkout. We can't program a unit without it. If you forget, we'll email you to grab it before we ship.
What if I gave you the wrong VIN?
If it hasn't shipped yet, no problem. Email us the correct one. If it's already shipped, send it back and we'll re-flash it under warranty at no charge.
Is every unit bench-tested before it ships?
Yes. Every unit runs on our ECU simulator before it gets boxed. We verify proper power-up, communication with the simulated CAN bus, correct input/output behavior, and a clean code scan. If it doesn't pass, it doesn't ship.
Are these refurbished or new?
Refurbished OEM units. Every unit is teardown-inspected, components replaced as needed, flashed with the latest factory calibration, bench-tested, and VIN-programmed to your vehicle. Same hardware as the dealer, same calibration, fraction of the price.
03 / INSTALLATION

Installation

Is this really plug-and-play?
Yes. Disconnect battery, swap the unit, reconnect. No scan tool, no key relearn, no dealer visit. Because your VIN is already flashed in before it ships.
Do I need a scan tool or programmer?
No. The unit is fully flashed and VIN-locked to your truck before it leaves us. You don't need an SRS-capable scanner, OBD2 programmer, or dealer tool to make it run.
Will my keys still work?
Yes. Your existing keys, fobs, and immobilizer data are unaffected. The new ECU is programmed to recognize your truck, not to wipe its security.
Will it throw any codes after I install it?
It shouldn't. Every unit is bench-scanned for codes before it ships. If you do see a code after install, it's almost always a sensor or wiring issue unrelated to the ECU itself. Hit us up before you assume it's the unit.
How long does the install take?
Usually 15 to 30 minutes, depending on your vehicle and where the ECU lives. Most are under the hood or behind a kick panel. If you can swap a battery, you can do this.
04 / WARRANTY & RETURNS

Warranty & Returns

How long is the warranty?
5 years from delivery. Standard on every unit. Doesn't matter if you're a shop or a DIYer. Doesn't matter what you paid. Five years either way.
Do I need to register my warranty?
No. Warranty activates automatically the moment your package is delivered. No forms, no registration, no calling in to confirm. Your order number is your warranty record.
What does the warranty cover?
Any internal defect or failure of the ECU itself. Component failures, communication issues, programming corruption, no power-up, anything ECU-related.
  • Not covered: physical damage from external causes (water, fire, accident), modifications to the unit, or failure caused by a separate vehicle problem like a shorted harness.
See the full Warranty Policy for the details.
What if my ECU fails after install?
Email support@omniflash.com or call (223) 895-7182. We'll send a prepaid return label and ship a replacement same-day in most cases. No back-and-forth, no proof of fault required.
What's your return policy?
60 days for a full refund. Change your mind, ordered the wrong part, fixed the issue another way, whatever. As long as it's within 60 days of delivery, return it. No restocking fees. See Return Policy for the steps.
Do you charge a core deposit?
No core charge. You pay for the ECU at checkout, that's it. No deposit held, no card on file for a future charge. We do appreciate getting your old unit back so we can refurb it for the next customer. We'll send you info on that after delivery.
05 / VEHICLE FITMENT

Vehicle Fitment

How do I know it fits my truck?
Match the OEM part number printed on your existing ECU to the part number on our listing. Numbers match, it fits. Year, make, and model are just reference points. The OEM part number is the only thing that matters.
Where do I find my OEM part number?
On the sticker label of your existing ECU. Usually a 8 to 10 character alphanumeric like P56041606AC or 56040365. Pop the hood, find the ECU, write down the number. If you can't see the sticker clearly, snap a photo and email it to us.
What if my year isn't listed but the part number matches?
You're good. The year ranges listed are for reference. The OEM part number is the authoritative match. If yours matches ours, it fits regardless of what year shows up in the title.
What if I don't see my vehicle on the site?
We've got more inventory in the warehouse than what's listed online. Email support@omniflash.com or call (223) 895-7182 with your year, make, model, and OEM part number. There's a good chance we have it.
What makes and models do you cover?
Primary focus: Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, and RAM from the late 90s through the 2010s. We're expanding into Ford and GM platforms next. If you don't see your make, ask. We can usually source it.
